In 1996, Dr. Gary Kompothecras, D.C., known as Dr. Gary, opened one of the first multi-disciplinary medical clinics to help people injured in automobile accidents. He wanted to offer an integrated approach to address his patients’ needs and assist in their recovery. The Physician’s Group, LLC includes MDs, DOs, Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Radiologists, Physician’s Assistants, DCs, Nurse Practitioners, and Massage Therapists to deliver patients consistent quality care.
Dr. Gary expanded the practice’s capability with technologically advanced medical equipment that diagnoses injuries previously not discoverable by traditional physical examinations. Patients no longer had to settle a claim with a non-specific soft tissue injury diagnosis. He also refined the practice to deliver an efficient and cost-effective way of treating auto accident victims – invaluable for patients without health insurance and whose only compensation is to go through Florida’s no-fault auto insurance, which provides benefits of $10,000.
As a result of countless conversations with his patients, Dr. Gary, however, realized that they were often unaware of the health care benefits available with no-fault automobile insurance.
